Dylan Heath in Fashion, Suit, Thrift Store

In my quest to dress like a grown-up, I've actually reverted back to shopping habits of my younger self. Growing up, my mother bought all our clothes from Goodwill. After getting embarrassed by my cheap clothes, I went the other way and bought pants that were way to expensive. Now I'm back to thrift store shopping. Half because I can't afford new clothes and half because Jessie Thorn, my personal new-media hero and blogger at putthison.com, buys his grown-up clothes at thrift shops.

Today, I stopped by Twice is Nice in Urbana, 607 West Elm St. I was looking for pants specifically and nice clothes in general. What I found was a nice suit. It's the most curious suit I've ever seen. It's a custom tailored suit for Robert E. Thomas. The jacket fits pretty well, only a little big, but the pants are huge. Taking it to the tailor. Pretty excited about that.

I also bought this great tie. It's wool and made in Scotland. And the old lady who took my money told me it was her husbands.
