I came onto a bunch of rhubarb the other day. All I could think of was pie. Really what else is there to do with rhubarb? My room mate, who makes pie crust for a living, helped me make a whole wheat crust. I made a regular filling and put the apples on top mostly for the look. It didn't turn out very well. I should have cooked it longer. But it was my first real pie and it looks pretty snazzy.
